We are turning 40!
IMA was founded in 1985 by Lars-Gunnar Johansson and Isak Andersson, two friends who got together because they wanted to create something new. One of the first product groups to be part of the IMA range was the Norscan wardrobe interiors. And the first customer was in Vancouver, Canada!
In 2010 it was time for a shift to the next generation and Lars-Gunnars son, Anders Vingeborn, bought IMA and took over the leadership and development. Anders is still the owner of the company and is doing what he loves most, spending as much time as possible together with our customers in the 17 countries that we deliver to today.
This special year we will take you behind the scenes of IMA’s journey — from family roots to future innovations by showing you a series of films. What we do today matters not only for the next generation of our company, but for the generations to come on this planet. 🌍
